Pod air filters

When you want to install pod filters and get rid of the air box, what do you do with the breather connections?  I look at a bunch of pictures, but can't really see what people are doing to solve this.  Sorry if it's a dumb question.

Thanks!

Some people plumb it into one of the pods, some leave it open - just the way the older models had it - some fit in there a special small filter.

Note: replacing air box with pods requires more than just that, likely there will be need for different jetting and bit of tuning before it runs almost as well as the original setup.  You will also find that your knee position, cross winds and such influence the pods.  For all that trouble you only gain questionable amount of coolness - your call  ;D

It's been discussed in depth here. Read the whole thread and you'll know pods , in general, are a total waste of time unless you are just going for "a look":

Didn't hook the pipe to anything, vented straight into the air tucked away along the backbone of the frame.

How many times does one need to remove carbs?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Depends on how how many times they have been improperly rebuilt!

When you want to install pod filters and get rid of the air box

You don't get rid of it, you put it in a box and  save it until you are so frustrated with tuning and tweaking that you find a stock Honda kit and put it back to stock was my take on most pod threads.

Hm maybe I'll just stick to the air box and save the headache. :). Thanks for the warning. I do like the way the pods look but not that much. Haha
