fender question
« on: January 16, 2014, 11:02:28 AM »
I like the fender on this Thrive brand motorcycle.  Does anyone see any problems or issues that might arise from having this type of fender?

I've no idea but I'd hate to hit a pothole and the fender getting caught by the tyre.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

The stay looks awfully flimsy to me. The original will have a lot more "meat" holding it in place.

Thanks for all the replies!  This is why if love this forum. Overall it sounds like there shouldn't be any issues.  Here's a bit more info though.  I'm adding shorty 11" rear shocks and keeping the stock two spring setup.  I plan on bobbing the stock 750 rear fender and attaching a strut. Thoughts?
