STOLEN: 1970 Fully Restored CB100

Hi all,

Sad news - my 1970 cb100 was stolen. Just asking that you keep an eye out and let me know if you see it around - or pop up online. I've been restoring it for months as a gift for my girlfriend. It has 1,600 miles and runs great after all the work I put into it. I live in williamsburg Brooklyn and the bike was stolen in that area.

You need to start looking for parts for sale. It would be unwise to try and sell it assembled. My GS750E was stolen once and recovered before I knew it was missing because a cop saw 3 young african americans on it riding it down the street 20 miles away at 2am. Small scratch in the tank and a screwdrivered ignition switch. I asked why they didn't shoot any of them when they dumped the bike and ran off into a field. Cop's reply was "I couldn't get a clear shot." ;D

CRAP--I see adds on CL around here for folks looking for their stolen machines, usually smaller bikes it seems.  Good Luck and hope you can find it.  An add in your local Craigslist may help, reward or not as most bikers do hate thieves.
