Little under $9,000 new. Think you maybe can still get some new 2012's if you look around.  http://www.nadaguides.com/Motorcycles/2012/Moto-Guzzi/V7-CLASSIC-744cc/Values

I have a 71 Ambo. Pretty much the same bike. ::) . I like it a lot. I will say that the v twin is cool. That's probably the only similarity.

I met a guy back in October at a vintage bike show that had one, it was very cool.
I'd like to ride one, how do you like yours.  Seemed bulkier/heavier than my 750...

It is heavier. It's like a Cadillac. Smooth and handles pretty well. It's just a classy machine.

One of the guys on our local forum has one and loves it! He has done some long touring on it as well. I will send him this thread.

Never have ridden one Steve but Nick , a mechanic at one of my old workplaces, used to road race them.  He was part of a local group that raced nothing but Guzzis and would not even think of racing anything else...Larry

Nah. I got it from the original owner and I have a copy of an old Polaroid of him and his dad standing by it when it was new and he was young. I will keep it till I'm old and hopefully pass it on then.

Is there anything more fun than riding? They are between your legs and are quiet when you turn them off.

The earlier year V7 looked much better. Had a deposit on one but backed out and did a CBX project. The V7 would of been cheaper.  :D

Chrome tank is not only ugly try riding that in the sunshine.
