Change of Wheels - CB750 K2
« on: January 17, 2014, 09:32:31 AM »
Hello,

I´m planning on changing the wheels of my CB750 K2.
Currently, my bike have wheels similar to these:

But i´d really love to put on something like this:

Is there any wheel that would fit without any modification (specially the brakes)?  Or do i have to do something else?
Any help is greatly appreciated, or the model of a bike that has wheels compatible with my bike :D
Thanks!

Here´s my bike:

Your bike looks good, won't be cheap to ship those wheels to you down there.

Think it's worth it?  +1 spokes...

You'll have to search the archives and see if the brake discs are the same offset, I know the bolt pattern on the comstars and reverse comstars is a five bolt and the pattern on the wires is a six bolt. You might have to do some machining or shimming to get your stock caliper to line up, you can make basically anything fit with the right amount of fab work, custom axels or bearing swaps. But is it worth the work to swap things out when your wire wheels look nice???
