Over Night Rides, or Trips
« on: January 21, 2014, 07:51:17 am »
I still enjoy my 1975 super sport on long trips. Took a 3,000 mile trip last summer to Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico. Bike ran great, got 35 miles per gallon, used no oil. It has 25,000 miles on it now. Found it in a barn with 15,000 miles last November. Cleaned carbs, brakes, new wheel bearings, steering head bearings, a little touch up paint, and a harley muffler to replace the rotted out stock muffler. Bike looks good, run and rides like new.

Ride m guys Thats what there for.

You need an 'all of the above' option.

Also, check out the Traveler's Rest and three relay forums to get a picture of what people are doing on these bikes.
