« on: January 28, 2014, 05:20:58 PM »
OK,my friends have spoken....the surprise! I listened. So if Medyo doesn't buy the stroker in other post ,then it and rods will be 'For Sale"!! ;D
So I'm still going "BIG" ::) Let's see what's under this cover with the innocent looking plaque on it! ;D

Oh, I like. old school RC

Let's go deeper!

Looking good,RC H/D cam chain and sprocket.
Don't know about these numbers?

Back of cylinder head

Doesn't say RC, doesn't need to.Screams of good old school work! No flat or raised floor.

another,#2

This the set up for sale if MB doesn't get it!

First year Z1 carbs for sale!!

Another pic or two in a while! ;D Going to pull top end and see what we got!!! 8)
Enjoy, we snowed in! ;D Bill
Oh yeh, cleaned out my truck, found this"rag" under my back seat. Heard they were babe magnets, guess I'll try it! 8) Any M'fr missing one? ;D

Good deal. Now to address what chassis this big monster is going into. In my experience, a properly prepped chassis is more important than a lot of power.

Well if I put it in Pena chassis, then I could progress on engine and chassis. Then can swap big auto when done building it. Bill Could use my big PM wheel and the GSXR lowered f/end with wheel on it. Be a good start I think.

It would be nice if it was a roller but as i recall, there's a whole lot more work that needs to be done.

Not trying to mix things up too much but if i remember, you told me you had a double club foot arm and a raked stock chassis in the bunch of parts that came from Gary. I think i there was one picture with a set of wheelie bars.  You also have tons of stock tanks, side covers and seats. I gave you an MSD box (just need to buy a 2 step module) and i know you've got a few different sets of coils and at least one Dyna S ignition. You mentioned you had a rear wheel and frontend you could use. I assume there were probably some aftermarket front & rear brake calipers included as well.

Okay, so by now you see where i'm headed with this. Cobble together a stock frame bar bike from the parts and pieces you've got while you wait til you get a Gary framed bike ready to race.

Yeah, easy for me to say!!!! Lol.

Frank, it's so ironic. Came up with same plan last night! Other raked chassis has "chrome" Clubfoot! ;D So that's the plan! It still won't be easy, but should go together quicker. I think mental telepathy was going on! Yeh you going to be needed big time on this one. Mama,.........we going BIG! 8) Cobra engine and raked frame, big rear PM wheel, have a 350F tank and the K model fiberglass ones.Have a 1100F tail section.Got some seats etc. We'll piece it together with what I got. The "Batcave" bike! I'll dig out chassis this weekend. Purpose built race bike....here we come. ;D Bill

Sounds like its time for me to do a road trip to Georgia. Visit my brother and then to the Bat Cave - be sure Alfred has some hot tea ready when I get there. Lol

Can you post a pic of the PM wheel??? How wide is it?? Remember, the wider the wheel, the wider the offset will need to be on the front sprocket and the greater the need for a bearing support.
