Pricing seemed reasonable until I saw their fixed $90 shipping price. Deal killer for me. They're making $65 profit off the shipping. I notice that seat is on sale saving you $63.36, then roll that savings into the shipping. It ships the cheapest way through the US postal service and takes 2 -3 weeks shipping. I hate companies that deal that way.

Hmmm, a bit dodgy maybe... but then again, maybe not.

I can't see where they're located, but in their FAQ I read:

"Why is shipping so expensive? We ship out from Asia using Postal Service. They charge by size of the box and weight. Since the compete seats and seat cover & foam kits are large, the shipping cost is a little high. But all things considered, our seats are very high quality and very inexpensive compared to what's out there."

At that cost if you have a base you could have an upholsterer do your own special thing for the same price or cheaper. Get a fiberglass seat/plastic seat or use a metal base like stock

Draw up something, steal pics from the internet and contact an upholsterer.

I'm all done buying out of country (I consider Canada in-country) after getting thoroughly screwed by an outfit in Singapore. I recently bought a dash-cam. The top-rated was a Chinese (ptewee) model and mostly sold direct from China but I found an American company who imported it and I bought from them.

Although products are cheap, shipping is expensive out of Asia, the sellers aren't trying to rip anyone off.  About 6 years ago I was in Vietnam and bought, for US$20, a pair of 16" tyres with tubes & tapes for a C92 Benly. I wrapped it all up and went to the Saigon post office and they quoted me US$90 to ship to Oz. Bugger that, I brought them home as hand luggage.

I looked and couldn't find any info on the site where they are. I assumed with it all in English and US dollars it was in the USA. Where are they from? Being out of country would certainly change my rant on shipping charges but I still doubt that the cheapest USPS price for shipping is anywhere near $90.
Their terms and conditions page all have references to places in Calif. So I reinstate my rant. :D
