I asked. She said "What shoes?" In your closet!  "Yes".

 I know about it, I've got 4 750's. The F1 we ride together, the k0 I built to go fast. recently I got a sandcast at an auction, she was OK with that but when they invited me to make an offer on their dragbike and I bought it, she was mad for a couple weeks.
 This is all compounded by our daughters 180 mph dragster, my 40 chevy coupe and rusty 69 firebird. She asked my nephew to sell her his 65 GTO last night, I think that's payback of a kind I can deal with.

My wife and I have an understanding.   I don't ask why she needs so many paire of shoes and purses and she doesn't ask me why I need more tools and another bike.

My wife found the solution to my spending on tools and bikes.... after new windows, roof, siding and trim for the house, she's thinking about a kitchen overhaul.  My cash reserves are seriously depleted.

That is exactly why I keep MY "bike money" separate from OUR "family money"!

All my bike restores are worth more than my investment...

Kitchen restores average less that 30% return on investment.

Debate won...I think, well maybe,,,,,Oh F'-it  ::)

He got it at 14. He had some money and impressed his dad so dad helped. It had a 396 4 speed 12 bolt from a chevelle. The poor boy couldn't stand a chevy engine in it and he found an original 421 crate motor for a 62 tempest with original tripower in a box and quads on it.
  One morning when there wasn't school, his mom woke him up and said  Arnie Beswick is on the phone. He couldn't believe it but it was, It turned out Arnie needed the Tempest motor and since the bellhousings and starters are wierd they traded for a 65 Royal Bobcat 421 engine with quads. The kid got cash and ended up almost getting it for free.
 Then he had Rick Johnson (pontiac racer) install the 421 and freshen it up. And no he won't sell it, even to us.

 Oh, red orange I don't think it's an original color, black interior.
