fuse issues cb750
« on: February 01, 2014, 02:33:31 PM »
So carbs are done. Spark plugs changed. Try to start....no spark. Well was gonna try and find a way to test the coils and plug wires when I opened the small fuse panel and a fuse fell out.seems the posts that hold the bottom of the three ,15amp, are gone. Looks like one side melted out. How do I fix this issue? Doin need a new fuse panel? Good time to upgrade?  Ty

As you can see from the pictures the bottom fuse is melted out.when I took the fuse box off I noticed there is no wires that were hooked up to said position.so even if I get a new fuse box what would that bottom spot run? I am at a stand still fore electrical os not my forte. The only thing that doesn't appear to be working os I have no spark.ty

That's the main fuse and it looks like someone bypassed it. Those twist connectors are not intended for motorcycles. I would recommend sorting out the fuse panel first.
