We're supposed to get dumped on again tomorrow afternoon, must be something wicked because national weather service is already putting out warnings on the radio and TV. If it's as bad as they're predicting then my drive home from work tomorrow ought to be interesting. The amount of snow is one thing but the high winds and sub zero temps that are supposed to follow it is what's going to make it miserable.

Yup. We have had over 5ft so far, quite a ways to go to equal or surpass our 90 inch winter total back in 2007 I think. I know my poor little 20 year old snow blower hopes we don't challenge that record.  :)

Where is this Global Warming. To hear them talk we should have Palm Trees in Times Square by now!  All kidding aside we are geting worse Winters and hotter Summers here in New York than we had since I was a kid. The climate is changing or we have a  blip that comes around every 1,000 years or more.

It's snowing again here in Ann Arbor. I keep telling myself I won't sell the stang for a proper 4x4, but this winter is testing my determination.

Rain and ice patch here and there in our area this morning.  Steps from the house were most challenging.

I think this morning was the worse commute yet.  Counted 10 cars/trucks in the ditch and drove by 3 accidents on the way to work this morning.

If they didn't make it sound like it is new news on the television news, I wouldn't have to fall out of my chair laughing so hard!
Wake up! It happens in WINTER.

Try slush. I will take rain over slush any day. We have about 10" of it right now, what a drag, literally.

This is Jersey, man, where lifted jeeps are only useful for driving over the curb between parking lot areas.

That being said my Cherokee has 3.5" suspension raise and 31" mud tires :) Hard to get stuck.

My heart is just sinking at the thought of at least another week of lousy bike riding conditions with more salt on the roads than at Bonneville salt flats, UT...
