It appears to be a 4 link but the lower bars are tied together with an X and a  double driveshaft loop. Technically it's a swingarm type, it also has an anti roll bar to assist with resisting twist.

 The previous rear chassis was close to structural failure. I had paid a (pro) fabricator to add a suspension, he did a poor job.
 It was removed and a friend and I built this rear suspension to replace the previous junk.  I'm a little proud of it.

 This was the ADRL race at Cordova. We qualified 13th on motor with no power adders.  I'm thinking it ran 4.69 in the 1/8 mile.

 There is a guy that used a porsche engine and  transaxle in a bike, he drove the rear wheel from a sprocket on the axle flange on one side. It has a 4 link suspension very similar to a race car.

It's really pretty common on rear engine dragsters. The faster cars are still more often a hardtail but they are starting to use suspension more ofter on 6 second and faster cars.
