1968 CT90..yeah, another bike today.
« on: February 09, 2014, 03:21:11 PM »
Well I had forgotten about this one. Friend of mine from work told me I could have this 1968 CT90. That was over a year ago. Maybe longer.

Got a call today. You home? Yes. Still want the bike? Yes, but no way to get it. I have it on a trailer, be over in 30 minutes. Me= 8)

With title and free.

Not doing anything with it. To much work. Great parts. Exhaust is perfect.

The bike was actually at his rental. Tenets did the rest.

That's a somewhat rare model..............only sold in late '67 -'68.  It was the first year of dual-range tranny but still has the leading-link front-end. That tail light was short-lived.

The Indians had nothing better to do so smash the lens's, spray paint the bike.

Only thing missing is the left side cover and key. His wife told me she might have the key. Probably flip it for parts project. Exhaust is spotless, rims nice and a petcock on the carburetor? How cool is that?

I know where a running 68 is just a crazy price.

Nice.
Tenets have a secutity deposit on that rental?? They might not get it all/any back if they beat up a rare bike. If you didn't answer the phone and it was already on a trailer, where was it going? Scrap yard?

No, Steve would of left it at the House.

He told me I could have it 2 years ago. Maybe less. Gave up on it.

It would be cool to find an S90 parts bike and use that front end huh?

What are you going to do with all that cash?!

Put it back in the Bank.  :D

This was given to me so it's all profit. Not much mind you but profit.

Still getting things done to the House. Having the eves painted now. No way am I getting on a ladder and painting eves!  :o

Still selling. Call on the Dream but not hopeful. Guy that bought CB750 is after the CBX but the money isn't stupid enough. Yet.  :P
