Can You Guess the Marque?

This was/is a new one on me. If you have the same book, you are disqualified. Otherwise, the first person to guess what this is wins a lifetime membership to the SOHC4 Owner's Club.  ;D

Bill,

You are good!

I never even knew this existed. All of 165 cc's and a sidecar option! I wonder how many of today's HD owners would realize these humble beginnings.  ;D

Thanks Bob. I remember seeing the Topper and the Mopeds come out, back in the days of the early struggle for survival and also the the other small 2-stroke bikes along with the Sprint.

That's a good question and another question would be,"How many would want to admit that the Topper WAS a H-D?"  ;D

I would LOVE to get me one of those, and then cruise around town in full H-D leathers complete with fringe, skull-cap and mirrored sunglasses.  Maybe even go to a HOG rally.  I've nothing against HD's or their owners, I just think it would be absolutely hilarious.

And wouldn't they all be impressed when you pulled a rope to start it.. just like your lawnmower. Yup, that's how you start them. My wife has always expressed interest in a scooter of some sort, only she wants a vintage Vespa. I said sorry, can't have you riding something worth more than my 750.  ;D

Rope?  Heck, that's even better than a kicker.  I'd have to watch my spurs to make sure they don't scratch anything when I put my big 'ol boot on the fender to give that rope a mighty yank.  Does it come with a straight pipe exhaust?

Except for the morning, I always use the kicker.  Partly because I want to save my battery and partly because I have one and they (read that almost any other bike) probably don't.  Kinda throws me back to the dirt bike days...I guess sometimes I am a slave to image.   ;)

There were HD scooters during the scooter boom in Europe, in the times that HD owned italian firm Aermacchi. They were actually rebadged aermacchii bikes.

Ya my wife wants a scooter too. Witch is amazing to me because is the most hypertensive passenger in a car. Mabey she wants to park it and stare, I don't know. I've see the Total Rukus (honda) Gang riding on video and with a few of your most embarrassing freinds it looks like a hoot!! But ya more money than my cb also. :'(
