I feel so used.  By the way, I have this sandcast 750, and was wondering what you guys think.......

I'm pleased you posted that Les. I saw that yesterday and didn't know what to make of it, very nearly put something up on here myself. I was never really convinced about the 'history' by the way - I've got a lot of stickers like that on my toolbox and I can safely say that's never been anywhere near the IOM TT!

How do you know he's a dealer? After everyone went ooh and ahhh over it he could've just seen dollar signs, gotta say I've thought the same about certain things I've picked up at a low price. Who doesn't like to make some cake for not much effort?

Those stickers look pretty authentic to me.  Many of them haven't been replicated and it would cost quite a bit to pull together an nos sticker collection like that.  The fairing looks to have been to the IOM in 1978 as the MCW sticker indicated the tank was pumped out for the ferry ride to the IOM.  Stickers or not the bike is what it is, a survivor.  I doubt anyone would pay big bucks just because the bike went to the IOM in the late 70s.  I think its cool that he posted here asking questions so he knew exactly what he had rather than list it as some "rare IOM Rickman model" that never existed.  That indicates that he's probably a straight shooter.  No foul for not telling us up front he was going to sell it.

Those stickers are as exciting to me as owning a sandcast.
