Just had a call via Bob Ellis,from Cookey.
1" of water out near the the track but the ramp is fine.
2014 Speed Week is all go.

It should all dry out, but we may had to move track further north depending on what we find next week.
The road in from Mt Ive to the lake is a little muddy, but passable. Although it should also dry out by then.

Thanks to Cookey, Smurf, and Pete for making the effort to go out and to Michael Freak DEWNR Ranger for his efforts too.

Thanks, Tiny.  If you use an enclosed trailer.............be sure to vent it to keep the dust out.  Will someone have a SAT-phone to keep us informed?

The TwoBob Engineering bike transporter is an 'ol Toyota troupie this year, the booze, crapper and fuel go in the trailer.
The beauty of lake G is it's isolation, no phone coverage unless you have a sat phone, although there will be a dribble of info being posted on the DLRA forum, I'll be out of LaLaLand for 2 weeks.
