Subject line kind of says is all. Would just like to pop the black metal ring that holds in the glass off my speedo and tach- not sure what's keeping it on there and don't want to break anything trying.

Thank you

You need to remove the thin silver stainless ring. These are available new but costly. I think there may be a tutorial on the forum if you do a search.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

They are a challenge to get off. If you do screw those up I have a new set of those stainless rings for sale in the 'For Sale' section for half the price of new ones  :)

If you are just painting them, it would be easier to leave everything intact. Use tape and an exacto knife

Are those OEM or the screw clamps?
