Right, seems to be working now. Thanks for the intro Sam. I bought the CR750 replica from Tony who had built it to parade (he had made a real nice job of it) so he had left the engine standard. I am now in the process of tuning it for racing. I have an X Cycle 849cc big bore kit with CX-3 cam and have sent them a crank for lightening and balancing and fitting with Super Rods. I will have the head flowed locally and intend fitting race valves, springs and retainers (any advice here would be appreciated especially regarding oversize inlet valves - I intend running Keihin CR31 carbs). I will also fit race chains (cam and primary) but, short term, I am going to run standard tensioners. Kheihin CR31 and probably an Electrix World or IgniTech ignition will be added. That will have to do for starters as I am definately on a limited budget. Hoping to race it early this season but I think my 1st meeting in early April might be being optimistic. I still have my TAB Honda 350 K4 though (the head on it is a '69 by the way).
