You know I think I'd rather watch womens hockey as opposed to the NHL I think they try harder than some of the over paid oafs in the so called " professional leagues ".
Be that as it may, Yeah Canada, a gold in the womens hockey.

Is that ice hockey or real hockey? I think real hockey is much better. Played it at school.

I'm still stunned that the Russian mens team is out of medal contention. From what I've been reading the Russian fans are STILL seriously pissed about the disallowed goal during the US game.

Real ice hockey died when Bobby Orr's knees finally crapped out cutting his career far too short. As far as I'm concerned ice hockey peaked in the late '60s early '70s leaving us with a bunch of pablum and poseurs. As always there are exceptions of course but youtube Bobby Orr to see what real ice hockey is/was all about. There isn't a lot of footage of him but you'll see what I'm talkin' 'bout.

I am talking about real hockey, the type that was played when there were only 6 teams in the NHL and when Toronto had actually won the Cup now and again.  Not the Brawlkey played today to attract the UFC viewers!
