cb750 k0 exhaust question

Hi..I have a k0..everything stock and I was thinking to take off the diffusers on the exhaust. .just for the noise..my question is would I have to change the carbs settings or not??

I like the way it sounds better with them in so I run my KO with them.  But if you want to remove them I don't think any change in jetting, etc would be needed.

I have run a K1 with HM300's both ways and all worked fine expect more noise.  In my opinion, like dhall, I like the sound of them with baffles installed. Still has a nice rasp and bark compared to the more muffled 341's.

MPO is you get the low throaty sound with the diffusers in. Heck, the 300's are loud enough with the them in. But then again I remember my younger days when loud and louder was good :)  Your bike do what suits you.

At 70-75mph, I don't really hear the sound from the pipes.  I have both hm300 and hm341, and neither has the diffusers.

About the only thing a diffuser does on the HM341's is keep a mouse out. Baffling is internal. At least the 300's have a real baffle.

Thanki u all for the replys..i have hm300 and i have also 4 spares difusers that im thinking to cut them where the installing threat is so i can still have the look of them and keep the rats out!!!
