Quick Dumb Question
« on: February 23, 2014, 03:41:39 PM »
The CB500 has 4 pilot air screws, correct? I can get to the ones on the outside (1 & 4) easily, but I can't see the access for 2 & 3.

Thanks.

They should be in the same location as on the outer carb bodies. A loooong screwdriver is very usefull here...

Fritz is right. But.. I think if the rack has been apart its possible that 2 and 3 are reversed so that screw driver would have to reach 3 from #1s side and 2 from 4s side.  Not 100% on this. Get a good light!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies guys. I figured I was missing something. I think I have the fuel lines routed incorrectly and they are blocking the screws. I'll just pull the rack, whooh!

Yes, I was thinking the same. But then I remembered that the throttle levers of #2 and #3 would be on the wrong side too. No way to mount the carbs like this...
