Hairdryer on high pointing at the pin  until loosened up, then slide it out gently . Or you could use the search feature for many answers such as

search function , that's like reading the instructions right? When all else fails... ;D

I enjoy interacting with other members here(most of them). I guess I could avoid that by just searching  every question I find myself curious about or obstacle I encounter. I do not partake of this "google" generation . I like talking to actual people if at all possible . I read and research when I cant talk to another like minded enthusiast. I do also like to contribute to this forum as well.
thanks for the link brother!

I wonder why it says "expert" after the screen name of a person who asked this question.  I wonder how that moniker would be applicable.  Seems to me an "expert" would be the one answering such a question, which would in turn be posed by a "novice."
I recently restored and sold a 77 cb750f, and am nearly finished with a (former basket case) cb750k5.  This is a place to share, learn and enjoy.  I am grateful to and for 99+% of this site's membership.

Tough crowd. A better question would be to ask how many people have become "experts" simply by posting "there's a search function. use it." on many of the threads they come across.

That said, hair dryer should work fine. Good luck!

We need pictures.  What is the condition of the posts.    I normally use a drill blank and tap the pin out with a small ball peen hammer.  A small pin punch will work too

Wow, I believe there are at least 20 ways to skin a cat. I like to
know more than one way. Sometimes you actually learn things when you ask questions from people who arent egotistical dicks or still living at home(thatd be most people I have encountered here in the past 6 years since I have been a member here)

Thanks for the friendly replies fellas with the exception of the few who are not apart of the nicest people you meet on a honda. The best advice in regards: if you dont have anything nice to say keep it to yourself no one wants to read this garbage but those with the maturity of a christmas elf, a novice christmas elf. Feel free not to post in my threads, novice christmas elf .

The drill 1/16th works. I had a friend that used a broken one the blank end then he used a small c-clamp he drilled a hole in the stationary end in the center large enough for the float pin to push into. Took three hand to hold every thing in place and pressed it out after soaking first.
