Sounds like other folks have had fitment issues with the motogpwerks.

Yep, and Jim's whined about it all over the internet, that was one pipe and I have no idea what was said but Jim fell out with Chris, I could ask Chris but I couldn't be bothered as this was one pipe and it was, as Cal says, almost 5 years ago and it was one of the first pipes, literally hundreds have been sold with only one or 2 small fitment issues. As a side note, Carpy was selling his pipes without thorough scrutiny or testing, under hard braking the pipes were hitting the front guard, that is scary dangerous, I'm sure he has it sorted now but its just an example. If you want to find fitment problems, there are plenty of guys on this site that have had problems fitting most brands of pipe, I put that down to user error, without both sides of any story you'll never know exactly.. I'll stand by Chris, I have a pipe and an alloy swingarm, both are great, i'll be buying another pipe as well...

Steve, most pipes i've had on most of my bikes, took a little muscle to get them on, I had an aussie made pipe that had a bit more than a 1/4 inch to be dealt with but it was still relatively easy to get on, I used 2 pieces of rag and a hammer handle for leverage, worked a treat and I didn't whine one little bit, I also had one on my Boldor 900 that I had to use a clamp to pull the number 3 pipe over into place with when fitting the pipe {second hand pipe}, it was a genuine Yoshimura pipe, I didn't ring Pops and give him a mouthful either..... ;D ;)

I purchased the MotoGPWerks pipe last summer and love it.  Install (and removal) in just a few minutes, really clean and love the sound.  My only complaint was the machined adapters that bolt onto the head seemed like they were either sprayed with a cheap paint or coating which flaked off quick.  I had them ceramic coated when I had everything else powdercoated and picking them up tomorrow.

All in all I would definitely buy Chris' pipe again, it's a quality piece and looks fantastic.  I can't post a video with my iPhone so I'll try later on the computer.

Totally OFF topic
