Topic: pic needed 78 550 k throttle cable

trying to find out where the 2 holes are located for throttle cables on pulley on top of carbs, thought there were 2 holes one at each end of pulley

are both holes at same end?

anyone got a close up pic showing where this second cable attaches

if they are at one end and I am not looking hard enough does top cable reach to furthest away hole

This is a diagram for the type 1 carbs, but I think it should be very similar for your pd style carbs.
Looking closer, I think the cable with the locknut adjustment is the pull cable. I think you have the push cable hooked up to the wrong wheel.

Pull cable will go to the top mount. Make sure the cables are connected properly at the throttle grip. It's not hard to mix those up.
