I really liked mine on my Goldwing. If you are going to spend hours at a time at highway speeds you just can't beat a full fairing.

As far as heat goes, at moderate speeds commuting downtown last summer I agree, it was a negative then.

That's why you need (at least) 2 bikes. A naked one for short/medium rides and a nice fully faired one for the multiday long rides.

The fact that the snap vents work says something about the design. I rode down to 40* when I was younger. I never had the lowers but wanted a set. My knees hurt from the cold when I got to work.
I have a late style out in the shop but the bracket was for a 550. I'd trade it for a 750 bracket if anyone is looking. I'd also be willing to drive a couple hours to relieve someone of their unloved jammer.
I read early on, Vetter would hand make one with a hidden stash pocket inside for those in need.

That was their hand-laid fiberglass versions, the 'Jammer I. I think it started with the fella I met at their factory in 1972 after my first 'Jammer I was wiped off my K2 in the wreck. I went to the factory to buy a "factory second" firsthand, which in those days was the only way to get one - or, a 'customized' one like you mention. Being hand-laid fiberglass in those days, it wasn't so hard to add...

I don't know if they are 2nd class, but they sure are a close copy - like the Torque brand also was. What kind of material is the Pacifico made from? I have seen them from the other lane, but never have actually touched one.

From what I remember HM  Pacifico products were a harder, denser plastic than the Jammer
