Topic: I'm getting antsy...

... for springtime and a motorcycle ride. We got another 4 inches of snow last night which will just delay the date. Average highs should be near 40f but it is 14f right now, it was -10f on Thursday. I generally figure on April 15th as a first ride date.

I almost managed a Christmas ride to Key West, but it didn't work out.
My new Cycle World arrived yesterday, just fanning the flames.
I've been hunting a copy of "Why We Ride", but it is not at Redbox, Netflix, on demand, at the movie theater.
Watched Long Way Round/Down on netflix recently, further whetting  of MC adventure rides, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the budget.
It is nice to see some pics popping up at "Lets See Your Bike..."

No big projects on my CB this past winter. I'm getting closer to tires, battery, chain, sprockets maintenance replacements. I got a luggage rack from 736cc, I might get a windshield and do some serious Godzilla moving this year.

I hear ya! With a new bike on order and the K6 sitting in the garage with a winters full of dust on it, I'm having big time cabin fever! Gosh damn snow & cold, I've had enough!!

I think the potholes will be to bad this year to ride.If it ever warms up.

I kept the insurance on this year waiting for and expecting the 60f thaw days when you can get the bike out and spin around for a short ride, but it hasn't happened.

Maybe I'll just go to the garage, fire it up, sit there and rev the engine for a bit, like I was 12 years old. Close my eyes and imagine a long smooth sweeper.

Thaw days?  Not this winter here!  I have been able to get out and ride several times the past couple of winters and get in some rides but not this year.  My criteria is above 40 and no ice on road.  Rarely happened this winter in NW Colorado.  Not a terrible amount of snow, just ccccccold!
