Here's a pic I took at Laconia in 74. Nixon eventually won, that's Gene Romero on the TZ, can you name the fellow behind? Shouldn't be too tough for the folks here.

That duck on the helmet of the third bike is Donald Duck, Barry Sheene's way of using Cockney Rhyming Slang to say something like "I don't give a f-ck". I'm paraphrasing but the pukka limeys on this list can help me right.

Here are a few more pictures from 1974 and 1975.  I did one race on the H2 at Summit Point in the fall of 1974.  First time I touched my toes down in a corner!  Was the last finisher in Cafe Class Unlimited.  Towards the end of the race the leaders lapped me, one on either side, didn't hear them coming and nearly jumped out of the saddle.  The wheels are Lester, the pipes Denco, and the seat home made. 



The next two photos were taken at Nelson Ledges in 1975.  Racing my TD2 in my new $200 custom Bates leathers.   



Racing a 250 Jawa in a 6 hour endurance race.  My co-rider and I took a 3rd in class.  Just a rookie learning how to go fast.

1989 WERA Grand National Finals..thats Nick Ienatsch in front,Keith Wakefield and yours truly trying to catch em..Road Atlanta...last roadrace i ever competed in,crashed  under the bridge and never raced again..man that hurt..#315 is me..

Damn Joe, just crash at the fastest part of old track! I usually preferred turn 7 (slowest turn)! Crashed there twice, once my bad or oil on track, other one got hit in rear and bent the shock rod! That old FT500 was tough! Bill

OK, so what am I looking at on the guys helmet and who is the rider? I can't recall seeing a definitive answer on this thread.
