Hose that runs from crank case to bottom of oil tank.
« on: March 04, 2014, 07:40:10 AM »
Hey guys, just finished my top end rebuild and she's running great!!! Thanks to my Hondaman book.

Now all I have is some odds and ends to fix and clean up. One of them is the tube that runs from the back of my crankcase to the bottom of my oil tank. Mine is super hard and cracked a little at the top and want to replace. I've been searching and googling and I just don't even know what to call it. The oil return tube? OR if I can just find out the diameter I can search that way.

Thanks for the help!

$12 shipped on ebay, cheaper than yamiya repop. Thanks flybox!

Now if I could only find the breather going from the valve train down to the back of the engine :)

measure the outlet pipe OD and head to the auto store.
Im sure they'll have it, and you'll have some lunch money left over  ;D

This is what I planning on doing, I couldn't even find it for 12. I think the cheapest I found it was for $20 and that just seemed insane to me.

Yeah it's just insane. $6.50 for the hose, but $8.99 for the shipping. For something that probably weighs less than a pound...

Scroll down and you can find the pressure hose I used for my leaky breather hose solution.

Hey duke, I see you got your hose from bel metric for the crank case to oil tank. Figure I might as well replace the breather case tube on the top of the cam while I'm at it. Do you know what diameter that tube is?

Off the top of my head I think it may be the same sized 7 or 7.5 mm ID line so  meter will probably get you enough for both. Somebody correct me if I am wrong about the valve cover breather tube.
