What part goes here?
« on: March 10, 2014, 07:43:04 PM »
This is where the kickstart lever connects. I can't find a seal or washer that looks like it should go here and I can't find anything on the parts fiche. Any help would be appreciated.

It uses a seal, similar looking to shifter/crank/starter/points. It looks like something is in there, otherwise oil would make its way out around the kickstarter shaft.

Hold on....
BTW...Nice job you are doing.

OK, now I understand.
The photo was not oriented correctly and it took so long to load because it was 4,200 pixels wide.

It does look like a CB750!
So there should be no washer between the frame and the engine.
Maybe that black washer thing between the frame and the engine is the kickstarter rubber?
That is if one even goes there.
Please tell us Stereosilence which bike this is.

Photo below with correct orientation.
Click on the photo for large version.

Stereosilence you need to learn how to use Google. LOL..lol

You need  Honda seal 91204-286-003
If the parts person at a Honda store says they do not have it tell them it also fits these models
C250 CB350 CB360 CB400 CB500 CB550 CB750.

Yeah, sorry about the picture. I'm hosting it with skydrive. I used to use picasa but they changed crap.

I actually looked all over the fiche with no luck. Bike is a '75CB550K as stated right under my avatar. Thanks for the part number.

Had a chance to run out to the barn and check the number.91204 286 003 is correct

And there is a spacer that goes where the black washer is in between the frame and the rear bottom engine mount on that side, usually it is the color of the cases, did you paint it black?

Thanks for checking. The spacer isn't black, it is just metal and I think it may be tarnished some. I think it is mostly the light though. I don't think the spacer is painted.
