Hi from Jakarta, Indonesia
« on: March 10, 2014, 04:53:53 AM »
Hi from Jakarta, Indonesia!! You can call me Inoi, as am so new in this Honda world. I just acquired this lovely CB750 from a friend of mine who own this for years, it comes with a Police crashbars and lights..the missing one is the front windshield and rear-side boxes. The frame and engine numbers says it's a K4 (1980), still having problem to find a good mechanic around here.

Anyway, greeting to you all

-siinoi.

Hi Inoi,

Welcome to SOHC4 world. Nice looking bike. Generally a K4 would be a 1974 at least in the US. The SOHC4's were made through 1978.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

It's more than just crash bars and lights, looking at the seat and speedo (plus a few other bits) I'd guess it's a near complete cop bike. Very nice find!
I hope you find the missing bits and keep it original, not as many of them around.  ;)

Hi all!

Thank you so much for the warm greetings! Well, in Indonesia usually takes longer...let say if it made in 1964, then it will be imported to Indonesia in 3-4 years later which I'm not sure the reason why.

Unfortunately, my height isn't compliance with it *LOL* but I'm willing to try the bike because I've seen good review its glory days until now! I will post more detailed pictures, and yes it got the rear small box for the tickets..but the sideboxes are china-made.

While we're on the topic + I haven't browse any website related to it, can anyone tell me what online website that have good spares for CB750?

You must post more pictures of your bike! Lots of differences from a North American bike. Looks like a CB450 type headlight/speedo bucket, Early model signal lights and brake stay/light.

Selamat pagi and welcome. A bike that size would be rare in Indonesia I think. I don't think I've ever seen anything much bigger than a 400 there although I haven't been to Jakarta.

Hi all,
I'm in need for the front brake master cylinder for my K4 (I think). Does anyone have extra that I can buy from? New or NOS condition or a similar replacement would be helpful :)

hi everyone!
it's been more than 90 days that i don't have any update on the cb750. i just got the ring piston off eBay and the engine is being assembled at the moment. i also got help and suggestion from other members off Facebook CB750 group.

here's 2 links from my instagram when i tried the bike before it got disambled - https://instagram.com/p/rf766Pj0_n/ | https://instagram.com/p/rxUhjVD0_U/
