Corroded Battery - Replace Electricals?

Hey guys, I'm in the process of restoring my CB750 K7 and I'd like to get your advice on what parts I should replace/where to find them. I purchased the bike without a battery. The PO has left the bike in storage for 3 years without prepping it, so fuel tank had to be fully cleaned, along with carbs. Now I'm thinking he let a battery corrode in the bike for that time as well. See photos attached. I bought a new battery box on eBay last night, but wanted to ask about all these electrical components. From the photos you can see they have built up some corrosion, I assume from the battery issue.

So what's the best route for replacing rectifier, regulator, etc? I know some sites sell combination rectifier/regulators, is this a worthwhile buy? I looked in the FAQ on electronics, but there's not much info there.

Just because those components look a bit dirty and/or etched doesn't mean they're no good anymore. They might just need some cleaning. If I were you, I'd test each component before ditching it for new stuff. No need to waste money if you can still use the stuff.

Battery box looks rusted through in places, so good that you're replacing it.

Once you do figure out what you need to replace, oregonmotorcycleparts.com and/or vintageconnections.com have the tools, connectors and components to keep things very close to stock.

Same here take the cover off and some elbow grease and a quick test should do it. If you replace every thing that is dirty you wil have a 10K bike. Clean ALL the connections on the harness.
