I have just had some extra hours of work due to the extra sealer I applied under the head cover gasket. WOW! It glued the gasket as a 2k glue! I had to scratch with razor blade and use paint removal gel to remove the stuff. 2 times
I saw it and took the fight now when head is off even if the gasket should work, not damaged.
Next time I'll use a thin layer of non hardener sealer like Hylomar (or my old good Hermetite Golden from the 80's still OK in the tube) to help gaskets to sit correct and seal under the cover. Same with cam chains adj unit that was stuck due to Hondabond. The other engine covers on the sides will be the future fun when gasket need to be replaced.
I have always heard how good Hondabond really is. I doubt I'll like the job taking the cases apart next time...
