I had a friend in Wyoming that had a Ford Ranch wagon that looked like that. It had a 460 out of a Merc and a C6. It had a nice paint job and decent wheels but needed interior done throughout. He got into a pinch for money and sold it for $5000 cash.

I had one identical to this a few years later.  Original 292 V8 about 60K on it.  I got it to a nice reliable driver condition needing paint and the interior redone then sold it to buy a sailboat.  The guy was a friend of a friend and he finished it and kept it for a long time.  Sold about 10 years ago to help finance a business start up.  I still have the sailboat.  ;D
Keep kicking myself for selling the Ranch Wagon. :(  I got what it was worth at the time in the early 80's but I am sure it's worth 5 or 6 times that now.  It was mint, rust free, with a 351C, and a nicely redone interior.  All still as nice today as the day I sold it.  But at least it is still in the family and I get to drive it now and again. :)

Bought a used 2008 Evo X with 2000 miles in 2009. Boot camp money. They always tell you don't spend your boot camp money on a car...

Killed it in early 2012 :( Only had 22000 miles and brand new tires. I miss it so much. But if I didn't, I wouldn't be riding, and I wouldn't be driving cool old cars.

PAID 1/2 AND DAD PAID THE OTHER 1/2 WHEN I WAS 17.....................................400 BUCKS FOR A 1971 OLDSMOBILE DELTA 88   4 door
i found out that the back seat folded down pretty much all the way, not sure if it was supposed to or not, but me an the then girlfriend put it to use several times.   car was beat up bad, but had a really strong 350 rocket down in it.  it was also this real ugly green color that oldsmobile was real fond of back then.
