she made chinese chicken while i fiddled with dog-legging shift and rear master cylinder linkages. Had to get creative with the bends to make things line up and work.

Haha, thanks. Ill take it as a compliment whatever it means

tank was just in too poor shape to make make the effort to make pretty with new paint. Will run with the "raw" look till a better tank comes along then ill get some quality paint done.

The chicken looks great! Making me hungry. It really is amazing how well this bike is coming out with what is available to you locally.

a few new discoveries to sort out though. I dont know how the previous owner was running the set up but i need to figure out an offset front sprocket (kz wheels) and the headers have really seen better days and its a forced fit with my rearsets. . I'll need to either find a decent old k-style 4-1's (a tall order here in Manila) or as our local solution here when we cant find what we need: make a set

Reconstructing a simplified harness (i use the term "simplified" loosely

Apologies to the purists but i gave up on trying to re-use the honda rivets. A long m3 allen head with a top nut looks neater IMO and can be used/reused many times over.

moving forward on the wiring was a bit daunting so i bought a how-to book on motorcycle electricsls before doin anything else

Meantime i tore into the seat upholstery and thinned the foam to get a better transition from seat to tank. Upholsterer did a crappy job there and had over-stuffed it. Flows a bit better now.
