So when I bought my 71 750 a few years ago, I didnt know to much about it. Didn't really need to do to much to it for awhile so I just rode it, changed the oil, etc. Now that I'm starting to do more work on it (top end this past winter, valves, honed, rings, seals, gaskets, etc) I'm researching and learning more and more about it. I'm also finding that it's a serious mish-mash of parts. I never really had the intention of restoring it or modifying it, just to ride it and enjoy my life on two wheels.
With that being said, there are a few parts on it that are strangely nice (for the most part in a good way). I have a nice "unicorn" top triple tree that I'm caring for dearly and a nice set (again for the most part) of HM300 pipes on it. Unfortunately on my number 3 pipe there's a sizable dent towards the end. My question is this, is that fixable or am i just going to have to live with it.
