- weld on a nut and turn it out.
'78 750K (F3 engine) PD42b's, Modified airbox w/K&N  filter, 40/110 jets, 1 needle shim, IMS@ 1 turn out. Kerker + Cone 18" QuietCore

better add its not  flush, there is a recess of about 2mm

no welder for me, not even sure if that would be possible will post pic soon

bolt is not seized,

Yep try this first sense you said this. bolt is not seized,

Left hand drill bit but start small and gradually get bigger.  Leave enough meat to use an extractor. Don't force the extractor or you can snap it off.
