help with dvd compilation
« on: March 15, 2014, 02:11:22 PM »
morning people.
my problem. I am putting together a collection of music avi files on a portable hard drive and have to select each file to play individual songs. is there anyway I can link them to autoplay them, but retain the ability to skip songs when I want.
cheers for any ideas

Yes.  Just put the file groups in a playlist.
iTunes has that built in.

it's just a hard drive I use for storage and plug it into the home theatre system. when I take tracks of it to burn to DVD it has the same problem when I play them on the DVD player. thought I was missing a file extension or something.
I shall try putting them thru some sort of play list, my poor wee puter only has 40 gig of hard drive that's where the external HD was meant to come to the rescue.

When you burn the disc, see if it will let you use a different file format.

hey I'm old, this will take me years to figure out. I've got a few files in the garage but they haven't helped. what happened to tapes, could do that.
