What model gsxr are those from? i know my cb550 and well, thats about the only bike im familiar with :D

2004 gsxr 1000 forks
2004 gsxr Brake calipers
Gsxr hayabusa rotors
2007 harley 19" wheel

Nice demonstration.I have a question for you. How long is the threaded section of the axle? I ask because I think you shaving off material to bring the axle further through the nut was unnecessary. The rule of thumb is as long as the threaded width captured in the nut is equal to or greater than the diameter of the shaft you have plenty of thread for safe use.

I believe that it was only screwed in about 1/3rd of the threaded distance.. roughly 4-5mm.  I took off about 0.22mm, but you can definitely remove less.

Hey man, any updates on the cb550 gsxr front end? were you able to graft that front end onto the 550 without the cognito hub or stem? thanks for the heads up your video is brilliant and has helped sooooo many people attempt this without the help of $3000 worth of stuff. I got everything you suggest and Im just waiting to see how you did the transfer. Thanks.
