He appeared to have a broken arm but the front end of his bike was obliterated by the head on. Hit me at the footboard and it jammed in there. I'm thinking that saved my leg. Broke both bones at the ankle. His fender gashed my shin. Multiple tears of muscles/tendons around my knee. Had my helmet on but the visor was up thus the nasty gash caused by debris I'm speculating.

Otherwise I'd still be in the other 2%. It was a GREAT bike!

Insurance company wanted to total it so I spent 8 months dicking around with the insurance #$%* guy. Long story. It's their's now. Still a good bike for whoever ends up with it. They said the frame is bent and I'm 1500 miles away so I couldn't determine the extent. Had to just be by the footboard.

I couldn't help myself. I'd just had breakfast with some of my (who'd want a Honda?) buddies. Jerry's Harley was taken out by external forces W0W. I'm hoping to venture deep into Harley territory this year. Hope they don't hold a grudge. L0L.

The article caught my eye because it had my first true love, the HD ST Fatboy as their main picture. After I read it, I was glad a Softail Fatboy wasn't destroyed, but its still terrible.
