kill switch and mag

Will a stock honda kill button work with a fairbanks morse magneto? I realize it will be reversed but am wondering if the voltage might jump the contacts? The drag bike I have only had the rider safety switch that attaches to the rider. I'd like to get it spinning and turn on the mag to reduce kickback.

dont know morse magnetos but in my british iron Lucas "Lord of Darkness"  mags, the kill switches simply earth the low voltage side of the whole thing, not the 20K volts :)
