I recently restored and sold a 77 cb750f, and am nearly finished with a (former basket case) cb750k5.  This is a place to share, learn and enjoy.  I am grateful to and for 99+% of this site's membership.

Ive got a set of those on my 500. They were the correct length although i did need to put a washer to shim out the clevis.

I think they are worth the money. I like them much more than the stock units they replaced but that ain't saying a whole lot. People over on the Triumph forums seem satisfied with them too.

I am definitely not one of these "high spirited" riders that can feel the performance difference between shocks like some.  Having qualified that I can say that if you go to the search function at the top and type in "aftermarket shocks" you will be able to read till your hearts content from people who know a whole lot more than me.  I have heard some negative comments about poor quality on aftermarket shocks from dubious suppliers.  IDK about these but I would definitely do some research before buying.

Not on a 500 but on my 400f. I paid 115 shipped for the other chinese knockoff of the ohliens shock w/resevoir. I think they are worth every cent. They really did replicate a high end shock that is fully rebuildable. Even has the valve to charge with gas. I say get them .
