Oversize swingarm for cb750 easy to mod.
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:16:52 PM »
I am posting it here because. It is easy to modify, and being steel, very easy to weld.
Suzuki, ...will find out year model. ..Soon.
The eccentric is a product I used to supply to a big frame maker, still have some parts left.
Swingarm is about 6 over but as I mentioned, easy to change.

OK Frank, you've peaked my interest, I do have a pair of late model 17 inch wheels that I'm thinking of puttting on a 750, so I'm subscribed. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

 I think it's off a 82-84 or 92-94 Suzi 1150.
The tire in the pic is over 6 1/2 inches of tread.... Or shall I say contact patch..Bet that would bite.

Frank, I gotta ask...do you make those eccentric adjusters to sell? I have been looking all over for a weld in set for a custom swingarm! If you do, I'd love to get a set or two off you!

I did make them, still have the center parts I think will check. Do you want steel or aluminum outer. If both pieces are aluminum, one should be anodized. . The axle holes are 3/4 but I can open them to 19mm.

Frank,

The outer would be steel with aluminum inner! I am actually looking for a 17mm axle diameter.  Let me know if you can make a set or two!
Thanks

Jens

I got several. Inner sets, 3/4 bore..19mm.
But only one steel outer, it's 3 7/16    by 1 inch.... The inner and outer weigh about 2 lbs kinda heavy.
