HI Guys,

I am putting the engine back together, and I may have hit a snag...  serves me right for not photo-documenting this assembly.

I don't see any other way for this to go back together, and with all the springs that hold it together, I can't really test it until the engine is back together.  It wouuld SUCK to figure out I did it wrong at that stage, so if anyone can see anything wrong here, I am all ears.

Thanks as always!

you nearly got it,looks like this.

that lump on the shaft rests against the bump on the case under spring tension.

no worries, make sure that small circlip on the inside is new or in good condition and the correct way around, they are stamped out and have a flatter sharper edge one side, that should face toward the end of the shaft inside, also a washer goes over the kickshaft against the other circlip and the case holds it in,its often missing.

Dave,

Great tips.  I think I will replace that 12mm Circlip on the inside, its pretty weak and I had to bend it back tighter.  I have not put the cases together yet, so I will take care of it this weekend.

I have the 18mm Washer for the Pedal Side.

Again, thank you for the guidance!
