Electric gauge guts inside stock gauge housing?
« on: March 25, 2014, 09:34:00 AM »
Has anyone tried this?  I like the idea of using electric gauges, but also like the looks of stock gauges (with fresh faces).  I should mention my intentions would be on a DOHC, but I prefer the SOHC gauges.  The stock unit from the 80s is hideous.

If you can't make it work, check out Speehut gauges. You can customize them in so many ways to your likings.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

These look very interesting.  I'll have to keep them in mind.
