Installed the 120 mains, runs MUCH better! Good strong pull all the way to redline. In fact, I now know that I need to install a new clutch assembly! :) Slips a little going into 3rd at WOT. Any suggestions on a replacement clutch?

Overall impression; I freakkin love this bike! It handles SO much better than the 1976 CB750F Super Sport I once had probably due to the steering head bearing, wheel bearing and brass swing arm bushing upgrades. It just tips into the corners so nice without a fight. The Dunlop tires do a nice job considering they've got a retro tread design. Nice a stable at 70 MPH with no wheel shake which is a surprise considering that I never had them balanced. Throttle response is crisp, brakes work just fine as is.  The only thing that's a bit odd is that couch of a seat! It's cushy but you sit up pretty high. Still a good riding position though. Another small quirk is getting into neutral from first gear. It fights back and likes to go into neutral from second better so I oblige and do it that way. That may change with some miles on the bike. Pretty sure the shifter assembly parts that were used came from different bikes so the wear patterns are slightly off.

I've got 77 miles logged so far and I'm planning on riding it to work this week and taking the long way home! :)

Big thanks to all here who have helped and supported this project! It ain't over yet, but it's now road worthy!

Here's another pic of the plug chop test with the 120 mains, WOT @ 6500 RPM. Perfect!

Break it in with 'dino' oil then switch to synthetic to see if the neutral shifting improves. You gonna try 125's since those are so clean?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I might try 125 mains later. Seems to be just right with 120. Shifting issue feels more mechanical than lube. It's easy to move, just wants to go right past neutral and on to second. Not that uncommon really.

Just finished painting the emblems. Found these on Ebay for $25 with no paint on them. The smell of the Testors paint took me back to days of building plastic model kits as a kid. :)

Your videos of this build will be missed.

I do hope you will paint it later on and share that process with us.

Dino, It's been a ton of fun riding along with you on this project.

Thanks for all the high-quality videos, I know for a fact that you've helped many people here with them.

I've suggested that this thread should get stickey'd somewhere, it's full of win.

Dino, now that this is stickied it'd be cool if you could edit your top post to have a list of each of the videos to save on scrolling.

Though, it's completely understandable if you don't have time to since you're most likely riding the snot out of that bike. :D

Yay to that. Yes botm of dino's bike is a very good way to return back the favor for what he has contributed to the community. And his project deserves it too.

H Dino, you're the man!! Your video's have inspired my dad to get his motorcycle license at 57 years old and we're almost done with his first bike, a CL350 ground up build!!! He's even got my mom in on the fun too!!! She bought at CB350!!!! haha.

I watch you videos pretty much every morning (seen them a million times) with my little guy on my lap (my 8 month old son, he loves them too... and Seamus and Figgero ! haha. Building my second cb now and your videos and info are a huge help...Thank you so much for taking the time to really show us how to do things the right way and in great detail.... I think you should keep the bike..ha!! Thanks again, take care.

Is there any chance we can get some still photos of the project bike.  If so, if you can also post them in the VOTING thread for Bike of the Month, that would be great.
