help with part numbers
« on: September 12, 2006, 10:55:44 AM »
I need to buy a set of the rubber grommets that hold the side covers on to my '69 750. I usually can use the parts fiche at crotchrockets.com, but the page that has these parts won't load. Anyone have another site that works, or, barring that, anyone know what the part numbers are for the oval (2 needed) and round (four needed) grommets? I also need the part numbers for the 3 special bolts and washers that hold the oil tank on (same fiche drawing). Help!

The two you need are; 17247-303-000
The four you need are; 83551-300-000

This is from an old parts list reprint. If go through a dealer, here may be a superseded replacement, but they would be able to track/note that.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Try this as the three Bolts to hold the Oil tank on.

I have used this site to look up part #'s to order same from my dealer. They have exploded parts manuals you can browse of all US models            http://www.cmsnl.com/cb750-four-k0-us_model478/partslist/       Check it out. John. Timmins, Canada

Thanks for the site info. It works great, and I have ordered the parts.

Thanks, Gentlemen! I gave up trying to find these used and, with the numbers you guys provided, have placed an order with Service Honda.
