It's just a interference (press) fit. You may want to disassemble it and JB weld it on to make sure it doesn't fall off again. Or search and get a diff. housing.
When the majority of the United States population get to be 70 years old, they will finally realize what is really important. And by then it'll be too late.

Wow, never heard of that nipple falling off before?  I would hate to have that happen while I move down the highway.  Only way I can think of those coming loose is by pulling real hard to get the fuel line off.  Maybe you can press it back in with gentle pressure and it will be OK.  That brass is soft so be careful.  You can still buy the petcock from Honda if you do not feel comfortable with your fix.

Put a little loctite on it and tap it all the way back in with a screwdriver handle or the like.

Happens to me sometimes taking the tight fuel line off. No big deal it presses back in - no leaks and no danger of falling out. Petcock is new.

cheers

  • If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's electrical

It's happened to me too! I just tapped back in with a hammer and a small block of wood.
