SS750f hub disc stuff
« on: September 30, 2016, 07:37:17 PM »
I love lace/spooked wheels never liked the older Honda 1977-78 OEM mags. If you want to use twin disc/rotor lace/spoke wheels on you 1977-78 Honda SS750f instead of the OEM mags this is how I've done it.

Take one Honda OEM single disc/rotor hub machine approximately 50 thousands off each side where the rotors fit drill 5 holes using the OEM rotors for a pattern the hub is very strong & seems to be OK. Use new grade 8 bolts lace your rim fit tire etc. and your done.

Just wondering whether or not a single disk front wheel can be converted into a twin disk wheel easily

We used the laced disc wheel , to run big rotors and newer calipers, on the black F forks . The wheel and axle bolts in.
Take off floating Ducati and Yamaha are correct pattern , but centre hole Iis different. , rotors will need spacing out a bit.
