Ebay AD

Who ever posted then pulled the ads on the 750 parts I bid on last night is a chicken ship mortar forker.
9 hours left last night, it was looking good and today no won, lost, outbid, or any sign it was ever posted.
Better post a minimum next time if you have expectations.

I'm not implying it was anyone here, just complaining out loud.

Did the auction have a "buy it now" option? I know I've probably pissed off a few bidders in the past by choosing the buy it now option after bidding has started. If I need something asap and don't want to wait till the end of the week for the auction to end then I'm going to nab it provided the price isn't outrageous.

Just so you know if the ad you're speaking of did have a buy it now option it wasn't me that nabbed it.  ;)

The add is nowhere to be found in the completed auctions section ? He may have ended it early for whatever reason.

When I was selling the GL1000 forkbrace I had on eBay I pulled the listing when I got an offer from a member here. However, I hadn't recieved any bids yet.

I see ads that say the lister reserves the right to pull because the item is listed for sale locally also. I think if it says that pulling for a local seller is fine, but if you don't reserve that right in the listing then I think it is bad form to pull it afer a bid has been made. Especially if the listing is almost up.

Had that happen once. I had bid on 4-5 separate items from a seller. Pulled them last minute. Sent him a message, he said the price wasn't high enough. Sent him another message, not quite as nice.
