Another mystery ball bearing...
« on: September 16, 2014, 07:01:45 AM »
I turned my engine to sit upright so i could work on the kick start from the oil sump. One ball bearing dropped out from somewhere. I have all covers off at the moment (clutch, rotor, etc, left and right side), it seems to have dropped out from the clutch basket side. Any ideas?

Possibly the ball bearing from the clutch push rod.

yep, I'd bet it goes behind the clutch lifter.

He did say he flipped it over to fix the kick starter.... maybe the bearing inside.of the kick starter itself.
